Hey All,
I found a couple of interesting threads on Entropia Forum regarding armor decay and weapon to-hit on the Enropia Forum website that I thought would be interesting to share:
Armor Decay:

Weapon To-Hit:
http://www.entropiaforum.com/forums/sho ... ge=1&pp=10
This prompted me to do a little experimentation of my own the other night. I wanted to compare the TT longblade at 10/10s to-hit with the RepEdge Battle Axe 2x0 at 0.9/10s to-hit. (both Longblades) I concentrated on Exarosaurs in the frozen North, and only counted hits when I was toe to toe with a mob, as running or charging MOB's seem to change the odds. I did a couple hundred hits with each weapon, which was probably a liitle low for a good statistical sample.
I can confirm that the average damage value over time will be the average of your min and max damage numbers. I can also confirm that a 10/10s weapon seems to hit 90% of the time. My 0.9/10s axe was hitting about 70% of the time. So assuming the ratio is linear, the average to hit percentage is probably something like %=70+20(x/10). Where x/10 is your to-hit value. I did not get enough critical hits to make a meaningful determination, but the likelyhood for a crit in either weapon was about 1-2%, and can probably be safely ignored in any cost comparison.
I have to go back and look at all my weapon stats now, but this gives a starting point for comparison.
My total cost/benefit ratio for the evening was about 2. Decayed 2 PED for every 1 I won. Typical Entropian losing proposition.
Hope this helps you all.
