Using the Crafting machines
« on: August 24, 2006, 06:16:06 PM »

One thing that I find to be rather funny about this game is the great variety of crafting machines that exist in game. Tailoring, component, armor, weapon, etc....[u:4rmkq5tp][color=red:4rmkq5tp]but any plan will work on any machine[/color:4rmkq5tp][/u:4rmkq5tp]...LOL what is the use of having so many different machines then. So next time you want to switch from components to weapons don't bother moving to another machine just switch the plan and keep going.

I have only one crafting global/Hof and it was achieved by placing the machine all the way to the right for best condition. I wonder if any of the serious crafters in our Soc would share with the rest of us if this is the best way to get a global or do you get them with the same frequency on the quantity setting as well?

Also do you get more globals if you craft 1k material all at one time or if you craft say 200 or so at a time?

To be 'UBER' is a goal, but one needs to realize that by the time you arrive at the 'UBER' level, the UBER's have all moved so high above you that all 'Post Gold' players will be FOREVER Noob! .........
Unless of course you want to chip your way up :)

You'd have to ask some old players ,why there's different mashines,
my best guess is, that in the old days you could only craft
specific thing in a specific mashines, BUT is only a guess.

I did not know that, in the past I just assumed that you had to use a specific machine and never even tried it until I read this topic, as I guess will most of the long term players
