Well, this IS NOT a thread about PE monsters...even though Gothenburg is MA's home.
My family and I visited the Monster Truck Madness at the Ullevi Stadion in Gothenburg (1.4 MI from MA) tonight. We've been seated every Friday night when the show was sent on the Channel5 here in Sweden. We all had our own favorites, like the 'Grave Digger', 'Taz' or 'Maximum Destruction' or other teams. I and my son even bought the largest RC controlled monster truck we could find...we bought the 'Grave Digger' body too (much paint job was done on that one). This big block(!) .28 truck has been driving around the neighbourhood a lot after it was built. We still can't figure out why our neighbours won't talk to us no more…
The real thing; Seen on TV, these vehicles are soo cool, you just can't get enough of them...but in real, this is even better than any Prince, U2 or Nirvana concert, I tell you! I am all thrilled! For you folks living in Europe, these are the dates for the show:
September 28-29 Arnhem, Holland Gelredome, October 6-8 Antwerp, Belgium Sportpaleis, October 27 Cardiff, UK Millennium Stadium, November 9-10 Stockholm, Sweden Globen Arena, November 16-18 Helsinki, Finland Hartwall Areena (that one is for you, Wikke!!). Go there, it's amazing!!

EDIT: If you're going, be sure you get seats for the late show. They always take it easy on the trucks to get them to work for the next show. This means, the early show is pretty lame compared to the late show. When on the late show, they will virtually destroy the trucks with high...I mean HIGH jumps. After all, they got more than two weeks to prepare for the next show and only hours if you visit the early show. They nuked four trucks from impossible jumps during the late show, and i was told that people didnt even get to hear the real sound of these engines during early show. It's a difference...
