Check this out JJG. It replaces the Red in the style with Orange or any other color you may want...

Actually it looks very interesting currently I am using the style BP Modified not sure if you are as well, some of the feedback in the admin area takes a bit of getting used to

I dont have the option to change my style anywhere in User Control Panel. I dont know which style I am currently using.

Yes I am using BP Modified too. That link I provided would allow you to change the style to remove the [color=#FF0000:161p3vr1]RED[/color:161p3vr1] "Admin" Name and lines at the top in the style to a different maybe Darker Orange. And possibly change the [color=#0040FF:161p3vr1]BLUE[/color:161p3vr1] "Post a reply" to something more fitting with the theme of the site like a Darker Orange. Possibly the same for the [color=#40BF00:161p3vr1]GREEN[/color:161p3vr1] "Global Moderator" Names.. Understand? I like the theme, just think pieces could be visually improved to fit the sites theme.
Its up to you though.

Also like the ACID Tech Tiger style. But could be improved with the suggestions above and a slightly darker orange for text, and changing the header image to be the Standard image.

Hey thats fine any advice is greatly appreciated
I want to try to get the basic functionality nailed down first and then start looking at ways to improve the theme, so far the BPModified theme is just a small variation on the original black pearl theme in as much as I made it slightly wider and have changed the banner at the top to match the website

No problem.. the Acid Tech Themes can be tweaked via that same colorizor tool too if you ever decide to. It is a really nice tool to customize themes.
